Donnelly - Littrell List Shopping Center Development
(Chico) The commercial team of Mike Donnelly and Brian Littrell is pleased to offer Chico's next shopping center location. The pair has announced it has been selected to list the nearly ten acre development site in north Chico next to Shasta Elementary School. "There has been incredible residential growth in the area, and this part of town is eager for a grocery store and other services" said Mike Donnelly, long time Broker. "Not only is this location perfect for shopping, it can also accamodate a hotel and drive through coffee chain", he said.
"The nearest grocery store is Save Mart, about five miles away", said Brian Littrell, who is co-listing the property. "This shopping center will be far more convenient and alleviate traffic and congestion along the Esplanade, plus give shoppers more choices", Littrell said. "Plus it has incredible frontage along Highway 99 for major visibility and drive by exposure", he said. The development land is being offered for $6,086,000.

Donnelly Sells Flagship Hignell HQ Property
Chico) Coldwell Banker Commercial is proud to announce the sale of the preeminent Hignell, Inc. corporate headquarters, as part of a multi-property exchange transaction.
The three building campus property with approximately 20,545 sq. ft. was sold June 30th to an investor for an undisclosed purchase price.

The three building campus property with approximately 20,545 sq. ft. was sold June 30th to an investor for an undisclosed purchase price. The offering consisted of two Class A office buildings totaling approximately 13,665 sq. ft. and a 6,880 sq. ft. shop building (with about 840 sq. ft of additional office), positioned in a park like campus setting at one of Chico’s most central and desirable locations. The Hignell Companies themselves were not for sale, and remain as the highest caliber tenant, continuing the Hignell legacy of providing property management and development services that helped build the City of Chico over more than seven decades. The transaction was handled by Mike Donnelly who represented both the seller and the buyer.
New Golden State Farm Credit HQ
KCOE Isom Building Sold
The buyer was coming out of a 1031 Tax Exchange after selling a 20,000 sq. ft. building at 3013 Ceres Ave., previously leased by the prestigious accounting firm KCOE -Isom.
KCOE-Isom is relocating to Meriam Park, and the stately building on Ceres Ave. was purchased by Golden State Farm Credit for a new corporate headquarters for an undisclosed price. The buyer in that transaction was represented by Bill Chance of Bill Chance Realty. The Seller was represented by Mike Donnelly.
Fleetwash Expands to Chico
New Fleetwash facility at 1262 Humbold Ave., Chico
The nation’s largest mobile truck washing and facility service company is coming to Chico. Fleetwash has leased a new facility at 1262 Humboldt Ave. Fleetwash has been pioneering green cleaning solutions since 1973. The company offers a wide range of services including building, compactor, refrigeration and solar panel cleaning, and of course, fleet washing. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, FLEETWASH has been on the front lines performing deep cleaning , disinfecting vehicles, facilities, offices, warehouses, and any high-touch surfaces for businesses and governments. The lease was handled by Mike Donnelly representing the landlord and Aziz Khatri, CCIM of KW-Commercial Oakland representing the tenant.
New Leasing Activity at Skypark Plaza
(Chico) Leasing activity remains brisk at the Skypark Plaza at Skyway and Notre Dame Blvd. in Chico with three new businesses opening up. The Sports Barbershop is the latest lease to be signed at the busy shopping center anchored by Raley's, Ross, Dollar Tree and Joanne's Fabrics. Operated by young businessman and entrepreneur ThienVu "Peter" Ho, the Sports Barbershop is located in Suite 420, just to the left of Tuesday Morning. In addition to quality haircuts in a fun and sports oriented environment, the Sports Barbershop offers message chairs and scalp message, as well as exceptional service.
Also at Skypark Plaza, Go West Realty is opening its second location in Butte County. Operated by broker John Russo, Go West Realty offers home buyers and sellers professional, responsive and attentive real estate services. The Skypark Plaza leasing and property management team remains highly proactive and diligent during this time of economic volatility, taking great efforts to assist tenants and keep the center active and vibrant. Rumiano Cheese Plant Under Construction in Willows
(Willows) A new cheese plant is under construction in the Willows Commercial and Industrial Center, the first of many commercial development projects that will transform the regional economy. The nearly 47,000 square foot Rumiano Cheese processing and packaging plant is being built at 101 Harvest Drive, the new industrial park bordered by Interstate 5 and old Highway 99W on the south side of Willows. The project is expected to be completed by the middle of next year and will employ more than 150 people.
The Willows Commercial and Industrial Center is a ready to go development project with available lots ranging from 1 to 30 acres available for sale or for lease. Another yet to be announced commercial development project is planned for a 2.15 acre parcel on the south side of the entrance to the center. Towne and Country remains 100% full, even in the midst of the COVID epidemic affect on the retail industry. ATK Lighting Showroom in Gold Town Plaza, Oroville
(Oroville) The future looks bright for a new lighting company in Gold Town Plaza in Oroville. Home Improvement start up company ATK Lighting and Electrical has opened a showroom and sales department in the busy commercial center anchored by Denny's and A T & T next to Dutch Bros at 2470 Oro Dam Blvd. Suite A. Owned and operated by Kenny Rodriguez who has more than twenty years in the electrical business, ATK Lighting offers a complete line of residential and commercial lighting design products, solar power and many other home improvement products.
